Hi , first of all thank you for this wonderful plugin. I installed it on WP 3.1 with the latest version 1.9.0 , it works fine besides some issues :-
1. I am planning a multilingual English/Arabic site (and more languages later), I followed the instructions, and installed with the Twentyten-xili theme, added Arabic from the list and did some trasnlations, but the Arabic option is missing in the menu (it shows only English) after hours of tweaking I opened the file "..\wp-content\themes\twentyten-xili\functions-xili\multilingual-functions.php" and "dismantled" some lines by adding the "/*" to lines 149, 150 and some other lines where it mentions the "ar-ar" slug.
(Please note that I am not an experienced programmer but know how to read some programming logic) - basically it worked for me (on the localhost) but wish to know if this is the solution or if there is a more convenient way before doing so on the "live" site .
2.Another issue is in the following description : a)I create a post/page, add translation and publish. b)When reading the post I have the option to read it in the other language option located on the post , it works and gives me the translated one , however when I change the language selection on the menu or the sidebar widget it changes the whole site and leads me to the archive and displays all posts/pages. What I mean is : the language selection from the Menu/Widget shall keep the recent post/page synchronized with the translation.
3.This issue deals with the page title when the page added to the navigation menu. Here is the description : Lets create a Page in English and have it translated in Arabic with an Arabic title, the case is when adding this Page to the navigation menu (e.g. a BIO or ABOUT page...) the title does not change, instead I have to add a term in the xili-dictionary for that title in order to work.
4.There is another xili-dictionary issue with RTL languages like Arabic/Hebrew when trying to add a translation for a term that has "$s" or other html/css coding in it : the problem is that when trying to replace the English (LTR) with Arabic/Hebrew (RTL), symbols like < > ? " " are reversed and change their place which leads to incorrect html/css coding !!
5.I am trying to have one of my plugins localized, this plugin has a "i18n" option in the Langage selection (it's the eStore commerce plugin that enables the cart to be displayed with other languages and when you don't have the desired language you simply select the i18n option), which is supposed to "sync" with the current language setting of the site, is there a way to do this within xili-lang/dict plugins ?
6.I have a WAMP 64bit - server on my Win7 localhost with Apache Version 2.2.17, PHP Version 5.3.4 and MySQL Version 5.1.53, when tried the xili-language 1.9.0 (and 1.8.x) with WP 3.0.5 and 3.1 I have "Warning: Invalid CRT parameters detected in .....wp-content\plugins\xili-language\xili-language.php on line 3865" even when there are no other plug ins. After Googling the problem some say it is a PHP 5.3.x issue. The 1.9.0/WP 3.1 fully functional on my Godaddy Linux shared hosting.
